In case you missed…

Playtext is now free and has received a fresh new look

Playtext is now free!

We created Playtext with the goal of helping people read more. The product used to be gated by a $120/year paywall, which didn't align with my ultimate goal. So, as of now, Playtext is totally free!

We streamlined the product and are laser-focused on articles. We removed PDF support and web publishing to concentrate on improving the article reading experience.

We also gave it a new coat of paint. We introduced a brand-new interface, and dark mode is available too!

You can listen to unlimited articles and effectively replace Pocket/Instapaper as your go-to read-it-later app.

1. Structured Procrastination (7 min)

How procrastinators can become more productive by prioritizing less important tasks as a way to avoid more urgent ones.

2. Sell → Design → Build (11 min)

“The best founders are actually risk killers, not risk seekers.” Instead of building something and figuring out if people want it. The author argues selling first is a much better approach.

3. How Actors Remember Their Lines (6 min)

Actors are storytellers. Instead of memorizing through repetition, actors deeply understand their characters and the meaning behind their lines, which makes recall easier during performances.
